Ambitions for 2014

newyork

It’s the beginning of a new month, spring is (sort of) around the corner and we have officially survived January! With the New Year festivities out the way it’s time to start planning for the year ahead, and I know what I aim to do throughout 2014. Travel, travel and more travel.  I can’t wait to go and do the things that money, time and essays wouldn’t previously allow me to do!

The first thing on my list is to go and visit my friends who are still living away at uni. When you start uni you have all these plans that you’ll go and visit your friends all the time, but it doesn’t always happen like that! The usual issues of money and time usually get in the way. So I am so excited to go and see my friends and go back to being a student for a few days!

The next place I want to go is a bit further afield. . . I want to visit New York as it’s somewhere that I have always wanted to go and fingers crossed it will happen this year. I am aiming to go with my friends at Christmas because it looks so pretty and magical in December. I can’t wait to do all the typical tourist things like the Empire State Building, Central Park and the Statue of Liberty. The main thing I want to do of course is shop! I think I will come back with a seriously heavy suitcase! But everything is so much cheaper over there, so that means I can buy more surely?!

Whatever 2014 brings, I can’t wait to start crossing off some travel destinations and definitely enjoy life uni and essay free!

I'm Bee and I'm from Nottingham. Last year I completed my degree in English Literature at Nottingham Trent University. I then went on to study an MA in International Fashion Business again at NTU, and I will graduate in November 2013. I hope to combine my English with my love of fashion and become a fashion journalist. My dream would be to see my name next to an article in a glossy magazine. But for now I am enjoying writing for Grads, and writing posts for my own fashion blog! Hope you enjoy my articles!
